The new Katoomba Library is an exciting part of the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, a 21st century facility to deliver programs which combine information delivery, the arts and literature in an electronic age.
Coloured Acrylic Euromir® from Allplastics were used in the lift lobby and shelving ends of the library to add a spectacular combination of colours including Red, Blue, Orange and Silver, thus adding a new dimension to the central part off the venue.

Cecilla Kugler director of the CK Design International who designed the fit-out of the library commented "the coloured mirror bands are attracting many positive comments from visitors" she said "this was a very economic and safer option than the use of leadlight windows. Thank you to the Allplastics team for your help during the design process".
Euromir® coloured Acrylic is supplied by Allplastics in 15 colours. Applications include Childcare Centres, Fashion Shops, Ceiling Panels, Food Courts and many other situations where glass is not a practical material.
