Allplastics Architectural and Building division offers the architect; designer and project manager a diverse range of finishes and colour choices for exterior and interior applications.
Skylights provide natural light and warmth in winter in residential and commercial buildings. However glass can be heavy over large areas and potentially can crack or shatter. Elements such as Polycarbonate (Opal and Clear) ; PERSPEX Frost and Pexiglas provide a viable option with materials that are safer to handle and require less support structures than glass.
Recently Allplastics were approached by the builders SQ Projects for a solution for a 6 bedroom 8 bathroom new build deep waterfront residence located in Chiswick Sydney. The large double glazed skylights required a light diffuser element which was shatter proof and lightweight
Perspex featured in the photograph is PERSPEX Frost Crystal Clear with a written 10 year warranty has been installed below large custom built double glazed skylights with suspended and powder coated laser cut screens over.
Project includes extensive interior detailing include fabric and timber wall paneling, fabric wallpaper linings, fully choked veneer joinery with stainless steel inlay detailing and natural stone wall and floor finishes throughout.
