The display of wine bottles in a restaurant or a hotel is an essential ingredient both in terms of functionality and aesthetics. Recently Allplastics completed a stunning Acrylic wine bottle display cabinet designed by prominent designer Jill Hoffenberg for the Neptune Palace restaurant in Circular Quay in Sydney. The Clear Acrylic display needed to support the load of almost 100 full bottles of wine as well as having clear joints with minimum glue marks visible. 15mm Thick Solid Acrylic was utilised with 3mm Ivory Acrylic as the background. The result completed by the expertise of the Allplastics fabrication team was an eye catcher especially when the unit was lit by LED lighting.
The owners of the restaurant were excited by the finished product which attracted positive comments by many patrons.

Items previously made from glass which can be both heavy and unsafe in the kitchen can be made from acrylics such as frost Perspex or textured slumped Acrylic. These are much easier to carry by the restaurant staff as well as being available in satin finishes which hide finger marks.
