Aluminium Composite Panels (ACM) offer the sign exhibition, display and furniture industries, the option of using a rigid gloss or matt surface for their diverse applications. Aluminium Composite Panels consist of a thermoplastic polyethylene core that is sandwiched between two outer flat aluminium panels. The polyethylene core is bonded between the 2 aluminium sheets providing a very lightweight, smooth, flat and rigid sheet. The Aluminium Composite Sheet can be coated with a number of coatings depending on the end use, From PVDF or polyester paint. The Aluminium Composite sheets are produced in a wide selection of colours including gloss, metallic and patterns.
Designers and specifiers need to outline the end use of the Aluminium Composite panels especially in building cladding applications where a fire rated and tested brand need to be used.
All outside cladding installations need to be carried out by certified installers.
Note: Not all Aluminium composite sheets meet Australian standards, therefore it is essential to follow recommended guidelines and select materials which do meet the criteria.
Allplastics Engineering offers a diverse range of (ACM) sheets for a variety of industries. In addition, CNC Routing facilities including two 3m x 2m tables enable us to rapidly replicate shapes and designs to our customers. CNC Routing is a safe and economic alternative to a laser cutting since not all substructures and thermoplastics can be laser cut.
We offer our clients brands such as Metaline, Dibond, Signbond, Alucobond
