Starlight’s mission is “to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families”. When a once bright life becomes impacted by needles, hospitals visits and painful treatments, Starlight helps unwell children forget their ailment and rediscover the joys of childhood. The Starlight Foundation provides a unique programme designed to disrupt the relentless cycle of pain and trauma and offer these kids a welcome break, even if only for a short time, so these kids can simply be kids. Allplastics Engineering was recently approached to fabricate a custom made clear acrylic container which was used during a special fund raising day at the Ranch Hotel in North Ryde.
Hundreds of patrons tried their luck at throwing colourful plastic balls inside the 1-metre-tall “bin” donated by Allplastics Engineering for this worthy cause.
The organisers of this event were grateful to receive this donation which contributed to the collection of much needed funds for the Starlight Foundation.
