Good public art enriches ambiance. The Barangaroo precinct in Sydney’s newly developed area of the north-western edge of the CBD will be a showcase of art and culture for all to enjoy
Allplastics Engineering has provided custom cut 12mm thick clear, understated Acrylic panels in The Green Ladder display, a collaboration between Barangaroo’s Delivery Authority and the Sherman Centre for Culture and Ideas.
Originally commissioned by the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation in 2016, for the Architectural Pavilion series “Fugitive Structures”, Vo Trong Nghia’s Green Ladder
speaks of sustainable and green architectural practice. Affirmed by successful experimentation and building with bamboo – the “steel of the 21st century” Vo Trong Nghia’s architects are incorporating other facets of nature in to their practice. They are utilising concepts such as natural ventilation in residential commissions as well as addressing solutions for the future including urban or vertical farming through educational projects.
