Polycarbonate offers an alternative to Glass Awning

Designers have been exploring various options to replace glass in roofing and awning applications in order to reduce costs and handling hazards.
Allplastics recently provided a builder with 12 mm thick UV grade unbreakable polycarbonate panels which were CNC Routed to the curved shapes designed by the architect.

Allplastics provided desk dividers in 10 mm thick Blue Tinted Plexiglass for the Northern Beaches Currency showroom.
While most desk or workstation dividers are cut from Perspex Frost or Plexiglas Satin Ice the designer chose the Tinted Blue to blend with the blue carpet and the corporate logo of the corporation and for the transparent look.

Allplastics' Clear Composite PEP Core UV Grade panels were chosen by Aspect Architects to be installed in the external walkway from the street into the side entrance of the new Goondiwindi Library & Theatre Refurbishment, installed by G & K Lawson Construction. Support of the local industry was major item to address the submission and the continuous employment of the local trades and regular deliveries from local suppliers has been imperative to the success of the project.
Shimmering shingles at Westpac Barangaroo

Allplastics provided Perspex Pearlescent Azure shapes for Westpac's newly opened office building at Barangaroo in Sydney as an attractive and welcoming entrance to the newly built commercial premises designed by Geyer.
The overarching theme for Barangaroo was to focus on organic themes and Australiana, and the shingles represent a skin wrapping the curved walls of the forum and receptions areas. The overlapping of the shingles emulates such natural phenomena as snakeskin or fish scales.
