With the advent of the finals series in the rugby league season looming Allplastics recently completed the cutting and supply of clear Abrasion Resistant (AR2) grade polycarbonate for the Allianz Stadium in Sydney. Clear Mar Resistant Polycarbonate was specified due to its unique properties of having 250 times the strength of glass; a special coating on both sides of the sheet to protect it from incidental scratching and wiping by cleaners.
The AR2 Makrolon Grade is U.V. stabilized with outstanding weatherability and virtually unbreakable.
As well as balustrading, polycarbonate is the ideal material for anti-vandal glazing, security screens in hospital & police stations; mass transport vehicles, earth moving machinery view panels and many more.

Allplastics manufactures a wide variety of thermoplastic bushes and bearings. These provide an extremely cost-effective alternative to conventional metal bearings.
The plastic bushes are usually made from a superior Nylon material impregnated with molybdenum disulphide (MoS2). This additive lowers friction which reduces the need for lubrication and prolongs the life of the bush.
