Starlight’s mission is “to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families”. When a once bright life becomes impacted by needles, hospitals visits and painful treatments, Starlight helps unwell children forget their ailment and rediscover the joys of childhood. The Starlight Foundation provides a unique programme designed to disrupt the relentless cycle of pain and trauma and offer these kids a welcome break, even if only for a short time, so these kids can simply be kids. Allplastics Engineering was recently approached to fabricate a custom made clear acrylic container which was used during a special fund raising day at the Ranch Hotel in North Ryde.

Allplastics Engineering has have come across an interesting application for clear polycarbonate panels in garbage bins in Sydney’s CBD.
The clear polycarbonate allows security personnel to easily detect any suspicious objects placed inside the bin. The polycarbonate’s exceptional strength prevents breakage from accidental or intentional wilful damage.
Furthermore, cleaners are easily able to see the level of waste in the bins thus saving time on unnecessary emptying.
