Transforming the heart of Melbourne Girls' Grammar School's Merton Hall campus, Wildfell is an innovative reimagining of the conventional educational building.
Located in South Yarra and the result of collaboration between Melbourne based Sally Draper Architects and Taylor Cullity Lethlean (TCL) landscaping, the project is an inspiring learning environment amidst a dense inner city site.
Situated beneath the school's playing fields, the northfacing Wildfell precinct mediates between indoor and outdoor learning areas. Internally, large areas have been developed as multifunctional spaces to accommodate staff and student interactions.
